Lebanese President Michel Sulaiman met here on Monday with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and discussed bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern. Zarif arrived in Lebanese capital city, Beirut, late Sunday night at the top of a political and parliamentary delegation on the first leg of his regional tour of four countries including Syria, Jordan And Iraq . The iranian minister will also meet with other lebanese officials to discuss the current situation in Lebanon and the region in general in light of the regional developments with emphasis on the situation in Syria plus relations between Lebanon and Iran. Zarif is in Lebanon on an official invitation extended by his Lebanese counterpart Adnan Mansour, (IRNA) news agency reported. This is the new Iranian foreign minister's first visit of Lebanon in this capacity.
