A Lebanese soldier who opened fire at Israeli forces last night "acted alone" and the army was investigating the incident, the army command said Monday. The command added in a statement a military committee has been formed to probe the shooting. It said it was coordinating with the UN peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon to address ramification of the shooting incident. The army also expressed commitment to UN resolution 1701. The Lebanese soldier opened fire at an Israeli force across the border fence killing one of them.
