The Lebanese Internal Security Forces detained Friday two Syrian nationals who entered the outskirts of Shebaa from the Syrian town of Beit Jin, National News Agency reported. It said the pair, named Khaled Ahmed Kamal and Ahmed Qassem Kamal, crossed into Lebanon through Mount Hermon and were detained and questioned before being handed over to Lebanese General Security in Hasbaya. A security source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity that the two men were with a herd of goats from the Beit Jin village to Shebaa. In August, the Lebanese army arrested five Syrian nationals who crossed into Lebanon via the Mount Hermon, but later they were granted a three-month entry visa to Lebanon.
