Lebanese Caretaker Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has reiterated his country's participation in Geneva II conference on Syria, due to be held on January 22. In a TV interview, Mansour said his country is highly interested in the conference, noting that stability and security in Syria reflects on that of Lebanon. He called for international efforts to help the displaced and return them to their homes after the end of the crisis, stressing that a political solution is the only way out of the crisis.
