The Libyan General National Congress (GNC) announced that electing the head of the new government will be on September, the 12th. The Libyan News Agency quoted GNC spokesman Omar Humaidan as saying that running for premiership started today and will continue till Wednesday. He added that GNC called on premiership race runners to file a written request attached with endorsement of fifteen MPs, taking into account that a member can vote for only one candidate.
