Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zidan met here Thursday with U.S Deputy Secretary of State for the Middle East and Africa, William Burns, on the sidelines of the AU summit in Addis Ababa.  Talks during the meeting dealt with relations between Libya and the United States in addition to a number of issues of common interest. Burns reiterated his country’s readiness to support the democratic transition process in Libya.
