Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, who arrived here on Monday, discussed with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius the developments in the Middle East, especially in Yemen and Libya.

Talks also covered efforts to fight terrorist groups like Daesh and their allied militant groups in Iraq and Syria.

The two sides touched on Egypt's efforts to fight terrorism and the importance of boosting security and intelligence cooperation to face terrorist groups and radical ideas.
