Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Tuesday with Rwandan President Paul Kagame on the sidelines of his participation in a COMESA meeting held in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.
The meeting was attended by Trade and Industry Minister Monier Fakhri Abdel Nour.
Mahalb hailed ties binding Egypt and Rwanda, saying Cairo is keen on boosting cooperation with Kigali.
Mahlab invited Kagame to attend the inauguration of the New Suez Canal this year.
