"Future" bloc member Atef Majdalani stressed that his bloc insisted to hold elections on schedule, calling on the other side (March 8) to agree on the hybrid bill to evade political vacuum and security deterioration. "It is obvious that the other team does not seek consensus," the MP told "Voice of Lebanon"-Freedom and Dignity radio on Wednesday. He added that Hezbollah aim was to lead the country to political vacuum through ending the parliament's term and transporting the legislative prerogatives to the current Cabinet, accordingly they would be able to have control over Lebanon.
