Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak met here Tuesday on the sidelines of the 26th ASEAN Summit with Vietnam's Premier Nguyen Tan Dung and Thailand premier Prayut Chan-o-cha .

During their meeting, Razak extended an invitation to his Vietnamese counterpart to visit Malaysia and they agreed to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries , according to Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA).

Both sides expressed their hope to sign a strategic partnership between the two countries during the Vietnamese Premier's visit to Malaysia at a date to be agreed upon by both parties.
