Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta left Algeria Tuesday winding up a visit where he held talks with several Algerian officials topped by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

In statements after meeting Bouteflika, Keïta said that the Algerian officials exerted strenuous efforts to provide comfort to all Malian parties.

He thanked Algeria for siding with Mali.
