Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Saturday condoled with Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz over the death of victims in Friday's crane collapse in Mecca's Grand Mosque.

Ould Abdel Aziz voiced sorrow over the accident and expressed condolences to the families of the victims, the Mauritanian presidency said in a statement.

He wished speedy recovery for the injured people.

As many as 107 people were killed and 238 others injured in the accident.
