Mauritania’s President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz met here on Monday with Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Maniel Garcia Margallo, who is currently visiting Nouakchott. The Spanish minister said that the meeting discussed the bilateral cooperation in various fields, and regional issues including Mauritania’s view on the conflict in the Sahel, particularly in Mali.
