Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Tuesday received a written message from his Malian counterpart Ibrahim Boubacar Keita pertaining to bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

Mali's Minister of Solidarity, Humanitarian Action and Reconstruction of the North Hamadou Konate handed the message as the Mauritanian president met him today in Nouakchott.

After the meeting, the Malian official said the Mauritanian president reiterated his country's commitment to supporting Mali in order to reach permanent peace among all sides and restore stability in the country.
