Member of the Future bloc, MP Mouin Merhebi criticized Wednesday, in an interview with Al-fajer radio, the government's silence over the Syrian violations of the Lebanese territory. He uttered surprise over the contradiction between the statements of President Michel Sleiman and those of Foreign Affairs Minister, Adnan Mansour, about the Syrian bombing that keeps targeting the Lebanese territory. He strongly accused Minister Mansour of following the instructions of the Syrian Ambassador. The MP stressed the need to deploy the Army at the borders, calling on the Supreme Council of Defense to convene in order to discuss the Syrian raids on Lebanon.
