Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu on Wednesday visited six nationals receiving treatment at the Dar al Fouad Hospital after they were injured by mistake during a military operation in the Wahat area.

Ruiz Massieu arrived in Cairo in the wee hours of the day accompanied by some relatives of the Mexican victims.

She is scheduled to meet President Abdel Fattah El Sisi later today to discuss the circumstances behind the killing of eight Mexicans in the Wahat area.
