Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim asserted that his ministry belongs to the people and not to the ruling regime. In an interview with Al-Hayat channel aired on Monday, Ibrahim said the interior ministry is trying to achieve security in the country as well as staying away from the political conflict. The current situation in Egypt will only reach a breakthrough via political ways not security means, he added. The minister stressed that the police apparatus does not belong to any political trend.
