Gaza - KUNA
The Israeli Army said on Wednesday that Palestinian gunmen fired two missiles from Gaza Strip onto southern Israel. Radio Israel quoted an army spokesman saying the missiles hit ground in an open area in Shaar Hanegev Regional Council. Noting the missiles caused no casualties or damage, he remarked this means that three missiles have been fired from Gaza Strip onto southern Israel since yesterday evening, one fired earlier in the evening onto Ashkelon City. A Palestinian group called "Mojahideen Shura Council of Jerusalem" had claimed responsibility for firing three missiles onto Sderot City last night. A statement issued by the group said this is response to Jewish attacks against Palestinians and shall stop only once Israeli violations are stopped.
