Germany, Britain, Norway, Macedonia, Peru, Slovakia and Ethiopia offered condolences Wednesday over the demise of Egypt's Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.

They also voiced their support for Egypt in the war against terrorism, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aatti said.

He added that Hungary slammed the terrorist attack that targeted Egyptian servicemen in North Sinai earlier.

Egypt's embassies abroad are still receiving mourners, Abdel Aatti noted.

Barakat breathed his last in a terrorist attack that targeted his motorcade on June 29.
