The Moroccan authorities dismantled the first terrorist cell sending fighters to the unrest-hit Syria, Al Arabiya channel reported Thursday. According to Moroccan sources, the 18 fighters managed to enter Syria via smugglers in Turkey and they received training on the use of heavy and light weapons. One of the arrestees confessed that he made an explosive device to detonate it in a terrorist operation in Morocco. After searching their homes, police found swords, knives, bombs, military uniforms, gas masks and Al-Qaeda tapes.
