A popular march will take place next Saturday to free Mellila and Ceuta from Spanish colonisation. The march, organised by the National  Committe for the Liberation of Melilla and Ceuta, will follow a protest expected to take place at Bab Sebta (also known as the Door of Ceuta). Many unions and political parties have called for the demonstration to protest against Robert Kennedy Foundation\'s statement, which says that the Moroccan desert is the last African colony. The Committe for the Liberation of Melilla and Ceuta claims that the last colonies in the world are Palestine, Ceuta, Melilla and the Moroccan islands. The Committee stressed that it will not take immediate action against the Spanish stance to avoid any emotional actions. In a related context, the Committee denied any involvement in the storming of Leila Island, which was carried out by a group of youths. The Madrid authorities have denied that a group of young people stormed Leila Island, which is located about 200 meters away from Morocco\'s coastline. The Spanish authorities denied the news after Moroccan activists published a video in which they claimed they are in favour of the storming of the island Leila. The island caused a diplomatic crisis between Rabat and Madrid ten years ago, after Morocco deployed soldiers on the island.
