Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi lost \'\'a historic opportunity\'\' to demand the return of funds stashed overseas during the Hosni Mubarak regime, the Tamer el Kadi (Union of Revolutionary Youth) movement said in a communique on Thursday. Morsi should have faced down the countries where these funds are known to be stashed, and called on the UN and the international community to take on responsibility for returning them to Egypt, the communique said. The movement has called for a demonstration against Mubarak on October 12, the 100th day of his presidency.
