Cairo Criminal Court has delayed the trial of ousted president Mohammad Morsi and 14 leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood to next Tuesday for alleged involvement in the killing of protesters in December 2012. Morsi, who was deposed by the military on July 2, 2013, and other defendants are accused of allegedly giving orders to their supporters to deal harshly with protesters during clashes that occurred in front of the presidential palace in December 2012. Two protesters and nine Muslim Brotherhood members were killed in the clashes. The court decided to use the help of Egyptian TV experts to check CDs showing photos and videos of the December 2012 clashes.
