Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi will pay his first visit to the European Union headquarters in Brussels next week to hold talks with EU leaders on EU-Egyptian ties and regional issues. Morsi is expected to meet European Commission President Jose Manuel Barrorso on Thursday, 13 September and discuss EU-Egyptian ties, the internal situation in Egypt, the crisis in Syria and the Palestine question, Pia Hansen, chief European Commission ,spokesperson, told journalists here Friday. Morsi is also expected to meet on the same day EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton,added the spokesperson.
