Moscow is satisfied with the tonality of the conversation with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday after his meeting with Kerry. “We had a busy day today. A meeting was held with Russian President Vladimir Putin,” Lavrov said. “I would like to say once again that we are satisfied with the tonality and the atmosphere of the converstation.” According to the Russian minister, the Russian side felt the United States’ commitment to develop comprehensive relations in the economy, in politics, and in the area of international relations. “We fully share such attitude,” he stressed. “I think one of the most important conclusion is that both sides are committed to do their best to overcome the vestiges of the past and build up trust,” Lavrov said. “Of course, we have some problems in our relations but we are committed to take steps to solve them.”
