NATO\'s Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Ambassador Dirk Brengelmann left here on Tuesday for Turkey after a brief visit to Egypt. During his visit, Brengelmann held talks with Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Hili on ongoing efforts to settle a Syrian crisis and a possible military intervention in Syria. The talks also touched on spheres of cooperation between the AL and NATO in terms of fighting terrorism. The latest developments in the region and efforts of freeing the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction were also discussed.
