Gennady Latte, newly-appointed Ukrainian Ambassador to Egypt, will arrive here on Saturday to start his tenure.
According to a statement by the Ukrainian Embassy in Cairo, the new ambassador served as a second secretary at the Ukrainian Embassy in Tunisia from 1996 till 1999.
Besides other diplomatic posts at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Latte served as an extraordinary ambassador to Libya during the period from 2006 till 2010.
Also, Latte acted as a special representative of the Ukrainian president for Africa and the Middle East Affairs from 2013 to 2014.
