It was announced here on Friday that all foreign and local Non-governmental organizations closed their offices in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp at the Jalozai in northern Pakistani province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to security concerns. According to government officials, all Foreign and local humanitarian aid organizations offices at the Jalozai IDP camp in Nowshera district were closed due to threats of an attack on the aid organizations. Jalozai is one of the largest camps for IDPs in Pakistan where a food distribution point of the World Food Program (WFP) was targeted by a car bomb, which killed at least 17 people in March. The person in charge at the Jalozai camp, Usman Khalid confirmed that all offices, including those of the United Nation\'s WFP, UNHCR, WHO, and all local civic and health providing NGOs were asked to be closed down due to the threat. The offices will remain closed until further notice, he said.
