Norway is determined not to send any weapons to Ukraine, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg said Wednesday.
"Norway has clear rules concerning weapons. We are committed to the conflict being resolved not with weapons, but with negotiations and diplomacy," Solberg told the VG newspaper.
The Norwegian prime minister's statements follow similar remarks made by German Chancellor Angela Merkel last week. Countries including France, Italy, Spain and Finland have also rejected providing Ukraine with lethal assistance.
