Iraq’s Parliament Speaker Osama Nujaifi met here today with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Dawood Oglu separately in Ankara, and discussed the bilateral relations .A statement by the Office of Nujaifi carried by National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) said that he discussed in his meeting with Erdogan the good-neighborly relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them so as to ensure the common interests, especially those related to the oil and energy sector . The statement added that the two sides also discussed the security and political situation in Iraq , particularly the crisis in Anbar and the region , and the Syrian crisis and its effects on neighboring countries.
