US President Barack Obama called Tuesday in a telephone conversation with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi for political groups in Egypt to work together to advance the country’s democratic transition. “President Obama encouraged President Morsi and all political groups within Egypt to work to build consensus and advance the political transition,” the White House said.
