Jeddah - QNA
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has expressed deep concern over the tension caused by the differing views and opinions between the conflicting parties in Egypt. Ihsanoglu urged, in a statement today, the parties in Egypt to show restraint, giving priority to the high interests of the country and its people. He also called on all Egyptians to support the establishment of a comprehensive dialogue to overcome differences. He appealed to all parties in Egypt to work together to promote peace, security and stability in the country and to maintain its national interests which, he stressed, remain above any other consideration.
