More than 30 people have been arrested for alleged connections to the Hollywood-style diamond heist worth 50 million U.S. dollars at Brussels national airport this February, local authorities said on Wednesday. In a three-nation sweep, police caught 24 in Belgium, eight in Switzerland and one in France. All suspects were being questioned, spokesperson for the Brussels prosecutor\'s office Jean-Marc Meilleur was quoted by local media as saying. The breakthrough came after months of little progress in the investigations. Some of the stolen diamonds were recovered, but their market prices remain unclear. On Feb. 18, armed robbers drove through a hole they had cut in the airport fence in two black cars and unloaded the diamonds from a Zurich-bound plane before speeding off. The heist, one of the biggest diamond robberies in history, grabbed headlines as Belgium is home to Antwerp, the city known as the world\'s diamond center.
