Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will pay an official visit to the United States from Sept. 18-22, the Foreign Ministry said Saturday. In Washington, the foreign minister will hold bilateral meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Ron Krik and other senior officials. She will also meet with several important representatives of the US Congress, of academics and think tanks, a Foreign Ministry statement said. She will later travel to New York to join a delegation led by President Asif Zardari for the forthcoming UN General Assembly session. She will speak at the Council on Foreign Relations, SAIS and Asia Society in New York.
