Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will pay an official visit to Iran next week at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Talks between the two leaders will tackle bilateral relations especially in the economic fields. Iranian and Pakistani sources noted that Zardari’s visit to Iran comes in a bid to finalize a deal on Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project. Zardari left Pakistan for Dubai last night before he heads to Iran.
