Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi held a meeting Wednesday with head of Portuguese representative office in Ramallah.

The two sides talked means to boost relations and updates on the local political situation.

Ashrawi asserted activating the EU's role is urgent to stop Israeli violations against the Palestinians.

She also hailed support shown by Portugal to the Palestinian people.
