The Palestinian Authority has called for the immediate opening of Karam and Abu Salim border crossings to allow shipments of fuel into the Gaza Strip. According the spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority, USD 10 million worth of fuel required to power the Strip has been denied entry due to Israeli restrictions. The Palestinian Authority denounced Israel's closing of the vital border crossing calling at the same time upon the international community to step in to lift the blockade.
