The Palestinian Prisoners Club decided to take the first step to have Palestinians held in Israeli recognized as \"Prisoners of War\" with all the rights and privileges the title entails, a statement on Monday said. The club aims to secure the rights stipulated in international agreements in this regard, as the prisoners clearly fall under the category of individuals held for acts of national resistance, the statement added. Palestinian prisoners have sent out letters and pleas to the club demanding more support on both public and official level to have their rights upheld.
