Palestine Foreign Minister Riyadh al-Maliki briefed the Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat on the latest political developments in the Palestinian arena and repercussions of the Israeli settlement in the West Bank and the Occupied Jerusalem. Maliki said during the meeting that the illegal Israeli settlement plans threaten the Middle East peace process, stressing the importance of the current U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry\'s visit to the region. The visiting Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs is also scheduled to meet with a number of senior Maltese officials.
