Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah met on Sunday with a delegation of the German Lutheran Church.
During the get-together, Hamdallah briefed the German delegation on the latest political developments in the Palestinian territories as well as the Israeli violations, especially the seizure of the Palestinian tax revenues.
Hamdallah called upon the German clerics to support the Palestinian endeavors aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He also conveyed President Mahmoud Abbas Abo Mazen's appreciation of the efforts exerted by the Lutheran Church in favor of non-governmental organizations in Jerusalem (al Quds) city.
The delegation members, meanwhile, stressed that they will continue their support for the peace efforts and the educational sector in the Palestinian cities, especially in Jerusalem.
