Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday departed Cairo concluding a two-day visit to Egypt during which he met with Egyptian president, Mohammad Morsi. During his meet with Morsi, Abbas reviewed efforts done to support the Palestinian issue with an emphasis on Palestine’s bid to become a UN “non-member observer state” which the Palestinian authority will ask for soon on the 29th of November. On his visit to Cairo, the Palestinian president also took part in the Arab Foreign Ministers’ Emergency meeting held at the arab league general secretariat headquarters earlier this week to handle the Palestinian issue.
