Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas met here on Thursday with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the sidelines of the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly currently held in New York. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and the situation in the Middle East. Abbas also met with Japanese envoy to the Middle East Yutaka Iimura and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East in addition to the Palestinian approach to the United Nations.
