Three Israelis were injured on Wednesday in Eshkol region near Gaza Strip, due to a number of palestinian rockets fired towards the area from Gaza Strip. The Israeli army said that Palestinians fired about 30 rockets and mortar shells from Gaza Strip toward Negev region, noting that several Israeli homes have been directly hit and damaged. The army pointed out that at least three people were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. A spokesman for the Israeli army told the Israeli radio that \"warplanes launched air strikes targeted several areas in Gaza Strip in response to the rockets fired by Palestinians\". He added that rockets were launched early Wednesday from the Palestinian side, six hit Eshkol and Sedot Hanegev regions, three other rockets hit the region of Sha\'ar Hanegev. He also said that an another rockets fired from the Gaza Strip this morning and fell mostly in an open areas. The Izz Ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas and Nasser Saladin Brigades, military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, announced that they had hit all the Israeli army\'s sites in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip by missiles last night and early Wednesday. The two brigades announced their responsibility for the bombing in Israel force yesterday, which resulted in injuring an Israeli officer. The two brigades also said in a joint statement that \"these operation came in response to the repeated crimes of the enemy against our people and led to the death of four civilians and wounding about ten others during the last 48 hours.\" The Israeli war planes launched three raids last night and early Wednesday targeted groups of citizens in the town of Beit Lahia northern Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah in the south. Israeli warplanes also launched another raids affected citizens in Al-Sudania region north of Gaza, and the town of Beit Hanoun.
