Thousands of Palestinians took part in the funeral of the 22-year-old Palestinian youth who stabbed an Israeli soldier near Haram el Ibrahimi early Sunday.

Israeli forces shot dead Mahmoud Abu Gaheisha minutes after he stabbed an Israeli soldier in Hebron.

The Israeli authorities handed over the body of the man to his relatives to bury him.

The Israeli soldier was wounded in the head and neck.
