Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi called on Europe to step up pressure on Israel to save the two-state solution.

"Israel must pay the price for its occupation to the Palestine," Ashrawi said in a meeting with deputy of the German representative in the Palestinian territories Tobias Krwaza.

The international community must play a positive role in preventing Israel from jeopardizing the two-state solution, Ashrawi said.
