Paris - MENA
France voiced concern over the latest developments in the Korean Peninsula after the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un threatened to strike targets in the US mainland, and its military bases in the Pacific. France urges North Korea to refrain from more provocations, to fulfill its international commitments and to swiftly resume dialogue, said on Saturday Philippe Lalliot, the French Foreign Ministry\'s spokesman. Lalliot stressed that Pyongyang should respect international accords, including relevant UN resolutions. Kim Jong-un put strategic rocket units on standby, threatening to strike targets in South Korea, the US mainland, and its military bases in Hawaii and Guam, in anger after nuclear-capable US B-2 stealth bombers participated in joint military drills in the South.
