The Israeli President Shimon Peres has addressed the recent escalation of violence between Israel and Hamad. He said “Hamas needs to decide if it wants a quiet and developing Gaza or an unruly Gaza with no hope.” He said priority should be given now to residents in southern Israel. Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met with the security cabinet on Tuesday to discuss the situation on the border with Gaza . The Israeli army hit three targets in the Strip overnight Monday. One of the responses being considered is targeted assassination of Hamas commanders in Gaza, Army Radio reported.
