Member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Ahmed Qurei slammed on Sunday the storming of al Aqsa mosque by dozens of Israeli settlers to perform Talmudic rituals.

In a statement, Qurei warned of the Israeli violations, which provoke the feelings of Muslims across the world, especially Palestinians.

He also called on the Arab and Islamic leaders to bear responsibility towards what is happening in al Quds, stressing that the current developments in the Arab region should not prevent the Arab leaders from showing support for the Palestinian issue.

Qurei urged the international community to take a decisive action to foil the Israeli attempts to turn al Quds into a Jewish city.
