Amman - KUNA
The Palestinian National Council (PNC) called Wednesday for the formation of a national plan to be probed internationally aimed to ensure full recognition of a Palestinian state. PNC stressed in a statement the importance of implementing the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice in the Hague on the illegality of the separation barrier being built by Israel in the Palestinian territories. The PNC recalled the ninth anniversary of the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2004, which confirmed the illegality of the barrier and settlements in all the Palestinian land occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem. The PNC pointed out that the Palestinian people would continue to stand against Israeli settlements, separation wall and destruction of civilian houses. The PNC called on regional, international parliamentary associations and forums to support Palestinian requests in implementing the legitimate international resolutions in this regard.
