Daesh

The Palestine National Council (PNC), based in Amman, has called on parties concerned to act to save the Yarmouk camp from a massacre at the hands of Daesh.

It also urged them to stop the terrorist acts carried out by the extremist group.

In a press statement on Friday, the council stressed that the Palestinian refugee camps should not be exposed to military interference, calling for putting an end to the suffering of the Palestinians.

The PNC stressed that the camp should not be dragged into the conflict taking place in Syria.

The council called on the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to intensify its efforts to defend the Palestinian refugees and end the bloodshed there.

It further urged the United Nations (UN), the Arab League (AL) and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to protect the refugees in the camp, lift the blockade imposed on it and help deliver aid to its residents.
